Journal of Social, Educational and Religious Studies (JSERS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published by Suria Academic Press. This journal publishes scholarly articles from researchers, academics, and practitioners in the fields of social sciences, education, and religious studies. It welcomes original research, conceptual discussions, and theoretical reflections that contribute to the advancement of science and educational practices. JSERS is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible scholarly platform, and all submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by qualified reviewers in their respective fields. Although registered under the Social Sciences category, JSERS openly welcomes interdisciplinary submissions involving educational and religious perspectives as long as they are aligned with societal and humanistic discourse.
Aims and Scope
Journal of Social, Education and Religious Studies (JSERS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal that aims to become an academic platform for sharing high-quality research and critical thought in the fields of social sciences, education, and religious studies.
The journal seeks to:
· Foster scholarly dialogue between academics, researchers, and practitioners
· Contribute to the development of interdisciplinary approaches that bridge social, educational, and religious perspectives
· Encourage innovative, critical, and contextual studies relevant to contemporary society

Objectives
Journal of Social, Educational and Religious Studies (JSERS) is established with the following objectives:
Publication Frequency
Journal of Social, Educational and Religious Studies (JSERS) is published four times a year in the following months:
· March
· June
· September
· December
In each publication cycle, the journal releases two separate issues simultaneously. This means JSERS publishes a total of eight issues per year, ensuring timely dissemination of research and wider academic engagement. Each issue consists of peer-reviewed articles covering topics in social sciences, education, and religious studies. This publication model aims to increase visibility, accommodate a greater number of high-quality articles, and better serve the needs of our contributors and readers.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Social, Education and Religious Studies (JSERS) undergo a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that:
· The identity of the authors is not disclosed to the reviewers
· The identity of the reviewers is not disclosed to the authors
This process maintains impartiality, fairness, and academic integrity.
Detailed review process:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
All manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team to check:
· Compliance with the journal’s scope and guidelines
· Originality and potential contribution to the field
· Technical completeness and adherence to author guidelines
Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be desk rejected without external review.
2. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
· Originality and novelty
· Clarity and coherence of arguments
· Methodological rigor
· Significance and contribution to the discipline
Reviewers provide recommendations:
· Accept
· Accept with minor revisions
· Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
· Reject
4. Editorial Decision
The editorial team considers the reviewers’ reports and makes a final decision:
· Accept
· Revise (minor or major)
· Reject
The decision is communicated to the authors along with anonymized reviewers’ comments.
5. Revision and Resubmission
If revisions are requested:
· Authors must submit a revised manuscript
· Authors are encouraged to include a response letter explaining changes made
The revised manuscript may be sent for a second round of review if necessary.
6. Final Acceptance and Publication
Upon acceptance, manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout, and publication in the upcoming issue.
