Data Availability Statement
The Journal of Social, Educational, and Religious Studies encourages transparency and reproducibility in scholarly research. Authors are expected to provide a Data Availability Statement indicating whether and how the data supporting the findings of their study can be accessed.
Data Availability
Where applicable, research data may be:
- included within the article or its supplementary materials;
- deposited in a recognized public or institutional repository;
- available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request; or
- restricted from public access due to ethical, privacy, confidentiality, legal, or other legitimate considerations.
When data are deposited in a repository, authors are encouraged to provide the relevant repository name, DOI, URL, or other persistent identifier.
Data Availability Statement
Authors should include an appropriate statement in their manuscript. Examples include:
Publicly available data:
“The data supporting the findings of this study are available in [Repository Name] at [DOI/URL].”
Data available upon request:
“The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.”
Data included in the article:
“All data supporting the findings of this study are included in the article and/or its supplementary materials.”
Restricted data:
“The data are not publicly available due to privacy, ethical, confidentiality, or legal restrictions.”
No new data:
“No new data were created or analyzed in this study. Data sharing is therefore not applicable.”
Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring that data sharing complies with applicable ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, and informed-consent requirements. The journal does not require authors to disclose data when such disclosure would violate legitimate restrictions.
