Corrections, Retractions and Withdrawals

The Islamic Studies and Education Journal (ISEJ) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

Where necessary, the journal will take appropriate editorial action to correct or remove published content in accordance with internationally accepted publishing standards.

Corrections

Corrections may be published when minor errors are identified that do not affect the validity or overall conclusions of the article.

Retractions

An article may be retracted when reliable evidence demonstrates that the findings are seriously flawed or when research or publication misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate publication.

Retracted articles remain part of the scholarly record and will be clearly identified as retracted.

Withdrawals

In exceptional circumstances, a manuscript may be withdrawn before publication for legitimate editorial or ethical reasons.

Requests for withdrawal submitted by authors after acceptance will be considered on a case-by-case basis and require approval from the Editor.
