Publication Ethics

The Journal of Emerging Economics and Business (JEEB) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must adhere to principles of honesty, accountability, and academic professionalism.

Duties of Authors

Authors must ensure that their submissions:

·         Present original work and have not been published or submitted elsewhere.

·         Properly acknowledge the work of others through accurate citation.

·         Do not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or manipulated data.

·         Include only individuals who made significant scholarly contributions as co-authors.

·         Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all statements in their work.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

·         Making publication decisions based solely on academic merit and relevance.

·         Ensuring a fair and unbiased review process.

·         Maintaining confidentiality of submissions.

·         Avoiding conflicts of interest.

·         Taking appropriate action when ethical concerns are raised.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

·         Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.

·         Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript.

·         Identify relevant work not cited by the authors.

·         Declare conflicts of interest and decline review when necessary.

Plagiarism and Similarity

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts containing unacceptable similarity, unattributed copying, or ethical misconduct will be rejected.

Conflicts of Interest

All participants in the publication process must disclose relationships that could influence their judgment. Transparency is essential to maintaining trust in academic communication.

Ethical Violations

When misconduct is suspected, JEEB will investigate following international ethical standards. Actions may include rejection, correction, retraction, or notification to relevant institutions.
