Author Guidelines

The Journal of Emerging Economics and Business (JEEB) publishes high-quality, original contributions that advance knowledge in economics, business, management, and finance. The journal welcomes rigorous empirical studies, theoretical developments, and policy-relevant analyses that demonstrate clear scholarly impact and international relevance.

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.

1. Article Types

JEEB considers the following categories:

·         Research Articles

·         Review Articles

·         Conceptual or Theoretical Papers

All submissions must present a significant contribution to the literature.

2. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system. The editorial office does not accept submissions by email.

Authors should ensure that files are anonymized for double-blind review.

 

3. Manuscript Preparation

Language

Papers must be written in high-quality academic English. Authors are responsible for language accuracy prior to submission.

Format

Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word using the journal template.

Length

Most papers range between 6,000–10,000 words. Exceptions may be considered for review papers.

 

4. Manuscript Structure

A typical manuscript should include:

·         Title – concise and informative.

·         Author information – provided separately to maintain anonymity.

·         Abstract (150–250 words) – objectives, methods, main findings, contributions.

·         Keywords (3–6).

·         Introduction – including background, related literature, research gap, and study contribution.

·         Methodology – data sources, design, analytical techniques.

·         Results.

·         Discussion – interpretation and implications.

·         Conclusion – summary of contributions and possible future directions.

·         References.

 

5. Tables, Figures, and Data

All tables and figures must be clearly numbered, titled, and cited in the text. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted materials.

Where possible, authors are encouraged to provide data transparency and replicability information.

 

6. Citation Style

The journal follows an internationally recognized referencing style as specified in the template. Accuracy and completeness of references are the responsibility of the authors.

The use of reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) is encouraged.

 

7. Publication Ethics

JEEB adheres to strict ethical publishing standards. Manuscripts must be original and properly cite sources. Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and redundant publication are unacceptable.

All papers are screened using similarity detection tools.

 

8. Authorship Criteria

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All co-authors must approve the final version.

Changes in authorship after submission require editorial approval.

 

9. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.

 

10. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI tools may be used to assist language editing or formatting. However, authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of the content. AI systems cannot be listed as authors.

 

11. Peer Review

All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review. Authors are expected to respond to reviewers’ comments professionally and comprehensively.

 

12. Copyright and Open Access

Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are distributed under the open-access policy adopted by JEEB.

 

13. After Acceptance

Accepted papers undergo copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading. Authors will be asked to approve the final proofs before publication.

The opinions expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the editorial board or publisher.
