Author Guidelines
The Journal welcomes original and high-quality scholarly manuscripts that align with its Focus and Scope. Authors are expected to prepare manuscripts in accordance with the following guidelines and the Journal's publication policies.
1. Originality and Submission
Submitted manuscripts must:
- be original scholarly work;
- have not been previously published;
- not be under consideration by another journal;
- fall within the Journal's Focus and Scope; and
- comply with applicable standards of research and publication integrity.
Submission of a manuscript confirms that all authors have approved the submission and agree to its consideration by the Journal.
2. Manuscript Structure
Research articles should generally follow the structure below:
- Title
- Author Names and Affiliations
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments, if applicable
- Funding Statement, if applicable
- Conflict of Interest Statement, if applicable
- Data Availability Statement, where applicable
- References
The Introduction should establish the research context, identify relevant scholarly literature, explain the research gap, and clearly state the purpose or objectives of the study.
The Methods should provide sufficient information about the research design, data sources, procedures, and analytical methods.
The Results should present the main findings clearly and objectively. The Discussion should interpret the findings in relation to the research objectives and relevant scholarly literature.
The Conclusion should provide a concise statement of the main findings, contribution, implications, and/or recommendations, as appropriate.
The structure may be adapted for conceptual, theoretical, review, methodological, or other article types accepted by the Journal.
3. Title
The title should be concise, specific, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
Avoid unnecessary abbreviations, excessive wording, and statements that are not supported by the manuscript.
4. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should briefly and clearly present the research background or purpose, methods, main findings, and conclusion or implications.
The abstract should be understandable independently of the main text and should not contain unnecessary citations.
Authors should provide relevant keywords that accurately represent the main concepts, topics, or variables discussed in the manuscript.
5. Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be prepared using the Journal's official manuscript template.
Authors should follow the requirements specified in the template regarding:
- page layout and formatting;
- headings and subheadings;
- word or page limits;
- tables and figures;
- citations and references; and
- other technical requirements.
Authors should use the latest version of the Journal's template available on the Journal website.
6. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be clear, relevant, and appropriately integrated into the manuscript.
Each table and figure must:
- be numbered consecutively;
- have an appropriate title or caption;
- be referred to in the main text; and
- contain sufficient information for readers to understand its content.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material when required.
7. Citations and References
Authors must ensure that all sources are accurately cited and referenced.
The following principles apply:
- every source cited in the manuscript must appear in the reference list;
- every reference listed must be cited in the manuscript;
- bibliographic information must be complete and accurate; and
- the Journal's prescribed citation and referencing style must be applied consistently.
Authors are encouraged to use relevant, recent, and high-quality scholarly sources.
8. Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript.
All authors must:
- have made an appropriate contribution to the work;
- approve the submitted manuscript;
- agree to its submission; and
- accept responsibility for the integrity of the work.
Any change in authorship after submission must be appropriately justified and approved by all affected authors and the Journal.
9. Research Ethics
Authors must ensure that their research complies with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements.
Where applicable, manuscripts should provide information regarding:
- ethical approval;
- informed consent;
- participant protection;
- data privacy; and
- other relevant ethical considerations.
10. Declarations
Authors should provide the following statements where applicable:
- Funding Statement
- Conflict of Interest Statement
- Data Availability Statement
- Ethical Approval Statement
- Acknowledgments
These statements should be included in the appropriate section of the manuscript.
11. Language and Quality
Manuscripts must be written in clear, coherent, and academically appropriate language.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts have been carefully checked for:
- grammar and spelling;
- terminology;
- clarity and consistency;
- citations and references; and
- overall presentation.
The Journal may return manuscripts that require substantial language or formatting improvement before editorial evaluation.
12. Artificial Intelligence
Authors must comply with the Journal's AI Policy regarding the use of artificial intelligence and AI-assisted tools.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and final content of their manuscripts.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
Any material use of AI or AI-assisted tools should be disclosed in accordance with the Journal's AI Policy.
13. Manuscript Revision
When revision is requested, authors should submit:
- the revised manuscript; and
- a response to the reviewers' and/or editors' comments.
The response should clearly explain how each substantive comment has been addressed.
The revised manuscript may be subject to further editorial or peer review.
14. Final Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript is:
- original;
- accurate and complete;
- ethically compliant;
- properly cited and referenced; and
- prepared according to the Journal's requirements.
Before submission, authors are strongly encouraged to review the Submission Checklist to ensure that all requirements have been fulfilled.
For matters concerning publication ethics, peer review, plagiarism, open access, data availability, AI use, and post-publication corrections, authors should refer to the relevant Journal policies.
