Archiving Policy

The Journal is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content.

The Journal maintains digital archiving arrangements to ensure that published articles and their associated metadata remain accessible and part of the permanent scholarly record.

1. Digital Preservation

The Journal preserves its published content, including where applicable:

·         published articles;

·         article metadata;

·         abstracts and keywords;

·         author and affiliation information;

·         publication information; and

·         associated supplementary files.

The Publisher takes reasonable measures to protect archived content against accidental loss, technical failure, or changes to the publishing platform.

2. PKP Preservation Network

Where available and enabled, the Journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to support the long-term preservation of published content.

PKP PN provides digital preservation infrastructure for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

3. Additional Archiving

The Journal may also preserve or disseminate its published content through appropriate:

·         institutional repositories;

·         subject repositories;

·         national or disciplinary repositories;

·         digital preservation services; and

·         other recognized scholarly archiving systems.

The specific preservation services used by the Journal may be updated as appropriate.

4. Author Self-Archiving

Authors may archive and share their published articles in accordance with the Journal's applicable copyright and licensing terms.

Where permitted, authors may deposit their work in:

·         institutional repositories;

·         subject repositories;

·         personal academic websites; and

·         other legitimate scholarly platforms.

Authors must comply with the applicable Creative Commons license and attribution requirements when sharing or reusing published content.

5. Continuity of Access

The Journal is committed to maintaining access to its published scholarly record even in the event of changes to the Journal's website, publishing platform, editorial team, or operational arrangements.

The Publisher will make reasonable efforts to preserve published content and maintain appropriate access to the scholarly record.

6. Persistent Identifiers

Where applicable, published articles are assigned persistent identifiers such as Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to support reliable identification, citation, and long-term discoverability.

7. Version Integrity

The Journal seeks to preserve the integrity of the published scholarly record.

When an article requires a post-publication correction, Expression of Concern, or retraction, the original publication will generally remain part of the scholarly record and will be clearly linked to the relevant editorial notice.

Further information is available in the Journal's Retraction & Correction Policy.

8. Responsibility

The Publisher and editorial team are responsible for maintaining appropriate digital preservation arrangements and reviewing them periodically.

Archiving arrangements may be updated when necessary to reflect developments in digital preservation standards and scholarly publishing infrastructure.

The Journal's archiving policy supports its broader commitment to open access, research integrity, continuity of scholarly communication, and long-term preservation of the academic record.
